Located in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, Kareela Village Shopping Centre has been embraced by the local community since it re-opened in 2016.
The new development replaced a tired shopping centre and created a focal point for the community and a village atmosphere with space to meet and relax. Anchored by an extended and refurbished Coles supermarket, the centre offers a further 31 tenancies across a range of uses.
The vision for the project was to create an environment that would be utilised from morning to night and extend the offer from the traditional neighbourhood centre. Services such as the childcare centre, gym and medical services make the centre relevant throughout the day and drive provide a range of reasons for people to visit the centre.
