Woolworths Group has commenced construction on its latest development at Leppington Village, one step closer to the opening in late 2022.
Located on the corner of Ingleburn Road and Rickard Road, Leppington, the $72 million neighbourhood shopping centre will feature more than 8,000sqm of retail space, including a full-line Woolworths supermarket, medical precinct and over 20 speciality shops.
Rook Partners Associate Director Daniel Song said initial tenant interest for Leppington Village has been strong. “Many business owners are looking to capitalise on this opportunity. We’ve already issued leases with over 40% of the tenancies.”
The suburb of Leppington will emerge as a major suburb in Sydney’s southwest with critical infrastructure already in place, including the train station and construction of Badgerys Creek’s airport. Substantial residential developments will see the trade area population growing from 19,950 to 46,900 by 2026.
Opportunities for space in this breakthrough project are now available. Contact Daniel Song to take advantage of the range of options on offer.
