Rook Partners has launched Rook Partners Capital Management (RPCM), marking its entry into funds management with its first mandate secured from Marinya Capital.
RPCM has been appointed Fund Manager of the Casuarina Village Unit Trust, with Coles Casuarina Village in northern New South Wales as the foundation asset.
The neighbourhood shopping centre is anchored by Coles and supported by a variety of specialty retailers, serving a growing community with strong underlying retail fundamentals.
Andrew Vize, Head of Funds Management, said the launch represents a natural evolution for the business.
“RPCM brings together institutional-grade governance with hands-on asset and leasing expertise,” Vize said.
“Our focus is on delivering stable income and actively creating value through disciplined asset management.”
Rook Partners Founder Adam Sheumack said the move into funds management had been a long-term objective.
“We’ve spent over 20 years building the track record and relationships required to deliver strong investment outcomes,” Sheumack said.
“RPCM allows us to align directly with capital partners and take a more active role in driving asset performance.”
RPCM will target retail and commercial assets where active management can unlock value, leveraging Rook Partners’ proven leasing and asset management platform.
