Fast-food giant McDonald’s opened its newest outlet at Rhodes Central Shopping Centre. The new fit-out reflects a contemporary look and feel reflecting its urban location opposite Rhodes Train station. A variety of technology is used to enhance customer convenience including easy ordering kiosks, mobile payments to facilitate quick takeaway service.
Local customers were queuing throughout Saturday and Sunday to try the first of 15 casual dining venues due to open in this mixed-use development by Billbergia.
“It’s pleasing to see the opening of McDonald’s in this challenging environment that will eventually see Rhodes Central become the casual dining hub of this region with the calibre restaurants that are ready to open with fit-outs complete,” Daniel Song, Associate Director of Rook Partners.
