One of the country’s oldest workers compensation insurance firms will expand their service offering to Melbourne after striking a deal with landlord Dexus.
Adam Sheumack of Rook Partners negotiated the deal on behalf of Employers Mutual, leasing two floor plates totalling 2,430m2 at 385 Bourke Street. The new Melbourne lease commences in July on a 5+5 year term.
“Our client chose this Dexus owned asset because it offered great amenity including some short term fitted suites that will assist the company to recruit and set up their new Melbourne operation whilst the floors are being fitted out and completed for occupation,” Mr Sheumack said.
Operating for over a century, Employers Mutual specialises in the management of workers compensation insurance for their employer members, with offices also located in Sydney and Adelaide.
Rook Partners has a long standing relationship with Employers Mutual spanning over 12 years.
