For three weeks, Chatswood will be bursting with exciting events for Chinese New Year Celebrations.
From now to 20 February, Willoughby City Council is putting on a slew of events to ring in the Year of the Tiger with local communities, shops and restaurants in Chatswood Interchange and other locations.
A feast of food and culture, this year’s festival includes art installations, the popular Golden Markets, an inaugural Lunar New Year Comedy Festival and a jaw-dropping 10-metre-high Curious Tiger.
This month-long festival will help you invoke luck, prosperity, and good health for the new year ahead.
Start by writing down your wishes and placing them on the wishing tree, follow the Festival Eats Food Trail to The Chinese New Year Celebration Day Cultural Show, Lunar New Year Comedy Festival, Chatswood Tiger Beats and pop-up art exhibitions. Before you go, don’t forget to check out the Golden Market and have desserts in Chatswood for a sweet experience!
As the Tiger is known for its strength, fearlessness and ambition, it is believed 2022 will be a favourable year for economic and health recovery.
