Rhodes Central reached a significant milestone last week, hitting its highest floor, level 38, of construction. Billbergia topped out the construction of Rhodes Central on last Wednesday.
The topping out ceremony was joined by the Minister for Water, Property and Housing, Melinda Pavey, who followed the tradition of placing a tree on top of the main structure.
Adam Sheumack, Managing Director of Rook Partners, said the Rhodes Central retail centre that sits under 548 apartment towers will bring a new retail experience to the local community. “The development aligns with our commitment to bring curated customer experiences to our centres in landmark mixed-use projects.”
Over 85% of Rhodes Central’s retail and commercial tenancies have now been leased with only a few remaining opportunities left. The central location opposite the Rhodes Train station and the strong population growth have led to high enquiries on the project despite the turbulent year.
Committed tenants include Woolworths, Cincotta Chemist, Miyoungs Skinclinic, McDonald’s, Chongqing Street Noodle, Madam Pho, Two Peck Chicken, Fresh & Hot Malatang, Coco Tea, LAB Bakery Cafe, Cho Express, Zetciti and Ho’me Kids Cafe.
