Randwick City Council is building a home for the mighty Rabbitohs in Maroubra’s Heffron Park – and the announcement is leading to a surge in interest in retail spaces in the Southpoint Shopping Centre next door.
The new community sporting facility will be known as The Heffron Centre, forming part of the Randwick City Council’s $58M development in Sydney.
The new home for the mighty Rabbitohs, the NRL’s oldest club, is a significant community sporting development which will include an indoor multi-purpose facility with two indoor sports halls, a gymnastics facility, and facilities to support Souths Cares’ educational and community programs.
The centre is expected to open in late 2022 and in time for the 2023 NRL season.
Retail spaces in the thriving Southpoint Shopping Centre are now available. Contact Rook Partners to capitalise on this growing development opportunity.
